He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Description: A man with a friendly, welcoming air about him, he wears light armors faded through time and improper care. He has done his best to style his black hair to look like a famous performer. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Balam was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. While he appears to be a normal Tiefling, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind.
