Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Nyx embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. She constantly seizes attention wherever she goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. She likes to think of herself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the north were limited. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She was granted arcane powers by her dying brother.

History: He was born at the edge of vast mountains. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge.
