History: Astar was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. Some 10 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Astar never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: To settle down with his crush; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

Personality: She is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. She lacks moral complications. She does what she is told to by employers but not much else. She spends her money on whatever she fancies at the time.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Detective. She's also a talented Fisher, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg.

Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions
