History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Borun grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He found a children's book about a Halfling Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

History: Born to a Bricklayer, her father struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Shepherd hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Shepherd responsibilities is difficult; and she is unsatisfied with her job
