Personality: Her tongue was cut out and she uses sign language. She is a bit of a macho woman and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: Zanna hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by dire rats. Zanna was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the dire rats.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. Gennal was born on a far western island where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Shipwright. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 9 years.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and balancing his hectic life and new shipwright responsibilities is difficult

Personality: Prone to second guessing herself, she comes off as nervous. The war was a terrible time for her, and Agnes does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Agnes was born the youngest of three triplets. Her first spouse was a Navigator, they had one daughter, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent father; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister
