History: The child of a Priest, who enjoyed hunting, Gurdis was taken on many hunting expeditions. Gurdis liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by dire rats. Gurdis was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

Personality: She likes to brag about her accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of giants once and for all.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Butcher. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Further expansion of business.

To blow off anger she lifts weights and to control her otherwise explosive temper she works out a lot.

History: She was born in the east. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Melissa grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Melissa. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Shipwright for hire.
