History: When she was but 4 years old her parents immigrated from the west. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Pearl grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Pearl. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Randal was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He moved out north to avoid the crime he committed. He's also a talented Ploughman, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: He was raised in a mountains tribe. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He bought a shield and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Ruler responsibilities is difficult; and expand his business

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He took after his mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his mother taught him to defend himself. When his mother died while fighting goblins, the young Kerkad began to lead the lost caravan. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and he desires to right it; and to reunite with his absent mother
