History: Dean hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. At some point he was captured by dire rats and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He wants revenge against dire rats; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

Personality: She is a woman who does what she needs to. She will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. She works hard and plays hard.

History: She got into the Layabout business at a young age. She helped her father out around the business and became quite the natural. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture.

Description: He is a pot bellied eastern man with a big hulking figure and broad shoulders. He wears a fine chain shirt which he covers with grey colored cloaks and clothing. His brown hair has been sun bleached extensively. His gray unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Patrick embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He receives visions of the future at random moments

History: Patrick was born the youngest of three triplets. He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Detective and was forced into it by his family; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Description: This late middle aged man does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it and is in decent physical shape. He has done his best to style his brass crest to look like a famous performer. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Trynnicus embodies much of what other species detest in the Dragonborns. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC.
