In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Stannor alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He was granted martial powers by his dying brother.

Through the years after Dee was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Dee's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.
