History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the south were limited. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Anakis was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it; and her religion dominates her actions

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She saw the violence of war and the aftermath so she converted to religion and dedicated herself to non-violence.

Motivation: Many giants want her driven away; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions
