She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. A serious injury left her mother unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm mother. She has dedicated herself to building a better kind of golem.
