Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day.

She found several beat up suits of armor and, cannibalizing spare parts, she put together a working one.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Architect for hire.
