History: Born in the east to a Barber, Baern learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Halfling companion (his 'brother'). He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Barber.

Personality: She loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from her. She is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Dwarf in existence. She is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with her old comrades. She has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: She was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Nalaed grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Nalaed. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.
