History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Nalral was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and his religion dominates his actions

His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break.

History: Volen lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her father was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.
