Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Tabaxis in Cloak's homeland. Cloak decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. After a long history of fighting, Cloak and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: This man loves writing and to teach people writing more than just about anything. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: She is overprotective of those who hire her services. She also has developed a complete distrust of the Assassin profession.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Veloptima was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She helped her mother out around the business and became quite the natural. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Painter for the past few years.

Motivation: Expand her business; and balancing her hectic life and new painter responsibilities is difficult
