History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He's also a talented Sellsword, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: Jak hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his singing career. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Jak and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Stableman who has hired him part-time. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Stableman but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He found a children's book about a Human Expert who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: She seems absolutely devoid of it. She stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. She tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: Drenna was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Barrister. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Barrister for hire.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and further expansion of business
