History: He was raised by priests from a young age. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He saw the violence of war and the aftermath so he converted to religion and dedicated himself to non-violence.

She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Body Guard they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Courier, and she later adopted a second son.
