History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Cairn grew up listening to his father's many stories. His childhood dream was to be a Armorer, but he was a colossal failure. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Hunter for hire.

History: Born in the south to a Navigator, Ratak learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He has achieved small success as a Navigator.
