History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Jane grew up listening to her mother's many stories. Her mother was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. Some 6 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Jane never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.

History: He was born into a rich family. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: To protect his home; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
