Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Engraver they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Sellsword, and he later adopted a second daughter.

History: Rathkran was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Cleric, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Cleric in service of a powerful lord somewhere. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Marshal. He has achieved small success as a Marshal.

History: Her martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. She helped her father out around the business and became quite the natural. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.
