History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Fragrant was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered dancing. She has never given up on her dancing dream.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and she has a crush on the local tailor

Personality: She trusts no one. She is not readily capable for forgiveness and her ire never leaves her. Flattery will make her almost putty in your hands.

History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her mother. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs; and her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion
