Description: A woman of a pale complexion, she tends to wear a white poncho over her likewise colored trousers and shirt. Her hair is long and golden with streaks of brown, and is pulled back with small white clips. Her otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: She is intelligent and cunning, but she will too often allow her rage to get the better of her. She will lose her cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. She will do just about anything if she becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this she is easily convinced.

History: Merla was born in the south. At a young age she loved to build and create. Through the years after Merla was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Merla's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with music. She constantly tries to fill her life with music. She is used to getting what she wants. In part because she is a meticulous planner.

History: Shax was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Her father took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. She's also a talented Server, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Dilettante responsibilities is difficult.

Personality: He hates Half-Elves with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: He got into the Layabout business at a young age. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and nothing but the best is good enough for him

Description: A stocky lighter skinned man, he is wearing a long, white cloak. His blonde hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. His eyes are likewise violet.

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
