History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He worked as a nervous Locksmith and found it very stressful. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Chem was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared.
