Through the years after Lucan was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Lucan's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of freemasons.

History: Vani hails from a village terrorized by illithids. She was taken from her home at a very young age. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by illithids. Vani was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the illithids.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and she desires to right it
