History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Arannis was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. A gifted student he started as a Actor, but he got bored and became a Jeweler. He tends to his Jeweler job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Many dire rats want him driven away; and balancing his hectic life and new jeweler responsibilities is difficult

Personality: Savaran is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. Her home and work are filled with various knick knacks she has acquired through the years. She cares a great deal for her adopted teenage son.

History: She comes from a rich northern family. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Body Guard they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Tanner, and she later adopted a second son.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge.
