History: Gifted from a young age, Kipper studied abroad. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Kipper grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. History: Hoglik was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Half-Orcs in Hoglik's homeland. Hoglik decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. She found a children's book about a Half-Orc Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She has since lost track of the people in her past.
