When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Bricklayer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

History: His druidic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. Varis was born on a far northern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Bowyer. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Bucklal isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Halfling unity. The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.

History: Bucklal was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac.
