History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. Through the years after Bertram was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Bertram's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Personality: She is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. She refers to her adoptive mother for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Anne hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Servant hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: Here is a woman who knows she is the smartest in the room. She talks down to others constantly. She has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a woman enough she will sell her own mother. Money is her most trusted friend.

History: Galiena hails from a village terrorized by illithids. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and she desires to right it; and she has money and likes to spend it
