History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. During his travels, Zed and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Zed discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Zed fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Cairn was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His parents enrolled him in a Cleric school at a young age so that he could practice his psionic talents. He was granted psionic powers by his dying brother.

Personality: She is highly sensitive about her name. She loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. She has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: She comes from a rich western family. A freak accident while working with her Cartwright mother left her crippled. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Synthrin is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: Born in the west to a Apothecary, Synthrin learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. She was an apprentice working in her mother's forge. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.
