Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Born to a Layabout, his father struggled to pay the bills. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well.

History: Nala hails from a village terrorized by giants. Through the years after Nala was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Nala's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Oppleby is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.
