History: She was born in the north, but her parents moved at a very young age to the west. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to her current location. After months of barely getting by, Merla managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, she made her way to the capital under a new identity.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. After a long history of fighting, Seraphina and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs
