Personality: She considers herself a woman of culture and sophistication. She likes a good challenge to her wits. She is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. She likes to tell stories.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Bellfounder hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. Some 2 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Vaina never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.

History: Jarsali lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Like her father and her brother before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Marshal. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Marshal for the past few years.
