Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Ernest embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Barber. He has worked as a Barber like his mother before him.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it

Personality: She is a Carter first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Carter.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and she is unsatisfied with her job

Description: She is an exceptionally muscular looking western young adult. She wears a fine chain shirt which she covers with red colored cloaks and clothing. Beneath her clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. Her auburn hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. Her otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating she would invite many more into her home than her spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. She has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She was taken from her home at a very young age. After a long history of fighting, Kithri and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions.

Description: She wears a large hat to cast shadows over her face and wears ponchos to better hide her body. She is portly but not overly obese. Her auburn hair, when down, is lengthy. Her amber eyes peer out from beneath her top brown hat.

Personality: She trusts no one. She is not readily capable for forgiveness and her ire never leaves her. She is kind towards other women and children and will generally offer women help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to her.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. She helped her father out around the business and became quite the natural. She struck the Carpenter job and began her own company from there.

Motivation: She wants to meet her childhood hero; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
