Personality: She is unhospitable to her core. Her small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. She is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Herbalist. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Herbalist for hire.

Motivation: She will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact; and balancing her hectic life and new herbalist responsibilities is difficult

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of gnolls may trigger it at times.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Halflings in Hobart's homeland. Hobart decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He has achieved small success as a Fisher.

Motivation: He wants revenge against gnolls; and someone believes him a fraud

Description: This man is bedraggled and starved. He dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over his head. His blue hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. His eyes are silver.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with singing. He constantly tries to fill his life with singing. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Masseuse for the past few years.

Motivation: Expand his business; and to be a navigator again

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs.
