Personality: Her voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl she speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of her tone. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Drenna lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and she desires to right it.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: To be a Doctor again; and further expansion of business

History: His divine talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Lucan alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A deep hatred of brigands.
