History: She was born on a small isolated farm. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She wants revenge against dire rats; and balancing her hectic life and new spice merchant responsibilities is difficult

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Elves in the south were limited. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.
