History: Uthemar was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Sailor born in the past three hundred years. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. A gifted student he started as a Locksmith, but he got bored and became a Sailor. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Sailor for hire.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Sailor responsibilities is difficult.

Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. The war was a terrible time for her, and Orla does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Orla was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Soapmaker.

Motivation: She has passion for adventuring and risk.
