Ostracized due to the arcane powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Gnomes became a terror of the countryside. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Description: A man with a warm, jovial air about him, he does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. He has dyed his greying blue hair a little too much giving a sharp blue color. His eyes are likewise gold.

Personality: Melech is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: Melech lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
