Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. She is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: Althaea lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her father took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: A deep hatred of giants; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and she desires to right it
