He came across an abandoned tomb where he found a relic that called out to him. After picking it up he was cursed by a spirit.

Description: This southern woman very much looks the part of a Cartwright. Her clothes are grease stained in places. She wears a wide-brimmed hat to hide her balding. Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: Quiet and reserved she prefers to listen than to talk. She will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. She does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Born in the south her family was never financially stable. She worked as a nervous Cartwright and found it very stressful. Recently the stress of being a Cartwright has made it difficult for her to sleep.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Painter. He has achieved small success as a Painter.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and doesn't want to be a painter and was forced into it by his family

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Shadow fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
