In the process these unassuming Gnomes became a terror of the countryside. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

Description: This man stands a little under 3'2" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He wears suspenders and tan workpants. His shirt is grey, and he wears a heavy tan leather apron most of the time. His hair is short and auburn. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Description: She is lean but muscular and tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with her rolled up shirt sleeves this gives her a very relaxed look. Her brown hair is knotted and matted. Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: She is shy and timid. She has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. She would rather hide behind her crafts than deal with other people.

History: Born in the east to a Blacksmith, Maegan learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a ruined castle. She would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Maegan took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up mace and armor she uses now. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Blacksmith for hire.

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Gruk is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born at the edge of vast island. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and wants to raise his children well
