History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his mother. In his 12th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Personality: Stoic and calm, she prefers to meditate than take action. She is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. She haggles over everything, upselling her goods and buying cheap. She is persistent in everything.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Avice was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
