History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Description: An older man who wears a blue tunic with pastel highlights, and long black pants that bunch up around his shoes, he is not a threatening figure. His hair is always cut to a buzz. His violet eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Ralf was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister.

History: Faral hails from a village terrorized by brigands. She was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and she desires to right it
