History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Gardain grew up listening to his mother's many stories. Gardain liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Gardain fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Anthony lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He has never given up on his writing dream.

History: She was born at the edge of vast forest. She was a friend to animals and a trickster. In her defense of animals however she would do severe harm to people. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Fortune-teller they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Spice Merchant, and she later adopted a second son.

Description: She is a husky woman, who wears skinny pants and wears a white and violet robe with the hood down. Her black hair is thinning but still full. She has several tiny sapphire earrings on each ear.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Sarai's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. She does not believe in violence as a means to an end. She is a dedicated Carter but believes her peers are too gung-ho.

History: Sarai hails from a village terrorized by orcs. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.
