Description: A stocky darker skinned woman, she prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. She carries her fan with her everywhere and carries herself as the perfect lady. Her chestnut hair is smooth and relatively long. Her gray eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Merla embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. She loves teas. She is very sensitive about her face. To blow off anger she lifts weights and to control her otherwise explosive temper she works out a lot.

History: A child with a great deal of dancing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Her first spouse was a Herbalist, they had one daughter, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: She is a Cook first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. She is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: The child of eastern immigrants she idolized her mother. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She has achieved small success as a Cook.

Motivation: Meet up once more with her childhood friend.

Personality: She is happy with her job as a Navigator. She turns her eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. She is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Born to a Hunter, her father struggled to pay the bills. She was an apprentice working in her father's forge. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Navigator for hire.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg; and to share knowledge with the world

Description: She wears a large hat to cast shadows over her face and wears ponchos to better hide her body. She carries with her a set of scythes, each one with a amber on the hilt. She only wears one on her belt and the other on her back. Her brass crest is braided into rings. She has gleaming, smiling red eyes.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Havilar will drive conversation. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Havilar was born in the east. At a young age she loved to build and create. She worked as a nervous Seamstress and found it very stressful. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature scythe.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Seamstress responsibilities is difficult.
