His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Raymond is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his mother. At some point he was captured by drow and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and she'd like to take her coworkers down a peg

History: He was born in the west. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Elven conditions. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
