History: A powerful slaver made her what she is. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and to find somewhere to settle down

History: Beatrice lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Beatrice fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Rose grew up listening to her mother's many stories. While she appears to be a normal Halfling, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
