His mother taught him the rudiments of the Tanner arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. A serious injury left her mother unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm mother. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by illithids. Fragrant was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the illithids.
