History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his mother. Erky was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Erky decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
