History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. After coming to the age of reason, Pandjed took it upon himself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He was granted martial powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: To settle down with his crush; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. She claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day she will do what she thinks is right.

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Ploughman hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. Being a Ploughman kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: Her religion dominates her actions; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs
